Yes, it’s true. You may have forgotten about that silly little country in Europe, but it does actually have a National Championship. We might be well-known for our tea drinking, scone eating, and awesome TCG writer (for the unwise, that means Mr. Willoughby), but we also have a National Championship coming up this weekend that’s coinciding with Shonen Jump Championship Columbus.
We’ll be posting coverage of the Yu-Gi-Oh! UK National Championship alongside Shonen Jump Columbus this weekend. It will be in semi-real time, which means that although the feature matches, tech updates, interviews, and Swiss rounds will be online as soon as possible, coverage may be delayed a few hours due to time zone differences and an immense amount of work for our awesome editing team.
With an amazing field full of the UK’s best players, including last year’s winner Adam Kruszynski and runner-up Joe Whittaker, an intense and action-packed Championship is imminent. Make sure you stay tuned to Metagame.com this weekend for all the action not only from Shonen Jump Columbus, but also to find out who will claim the pride and glory, and be crowned the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! UK National Champion!
