Len Bludt just finished taking out one of the favorites to win here today, and is looking to best his performance with a Top 4 finish. His teched out Zombie deck has more monster control than the mirror match can handle, but now he's going to have to face a player who's packing even more monster control than he is. Donald Myers is playing a unique beatdown/control hybrid that can either control the opponent’s monsters, or attack without mercy. He beat Dale Bellido's Zombie deck yesterday, and appears to be well prepared for that matchup.

Len won the dice roll and opened with Giant Rat in attack mode. Donald set a pair of spell or trap cards and attacked into a face down Don Zaloog. Premature Burial was robbed from his hand, and he set a monster before passing. Donald played Nobleman of Crossout, removing a second Rat, and passed. Len summoned Zombie Master and discarded Pyramid Turtle to special summon it. Len attacked the Don with Zombie Master but was met by Mirror Force. He set a spell or trap and passed. Donald set a monster and passed, and Len once again summoned Zombie Master, discarded a Turtle, and special summoned it. Rat switched to attack mode, the Master hit the Don, and the Rat hit a face down Flying Kamakiri #1. Sasuke Samurai #4 was special summoned, Turtle attempted to bump into him but was destroyed by the Samurai's effect. Len passed with his monsters and one card in the back row.

Donald summoned another Samurai, turned his original one to defense, and passed. Len set a back field card and passed to Donald. Donald set a monster, switched his other Samurai to defense, and passed. Len was up, and he played Card of Safe Return, used his Zombie Master to special summon another Master, and attacked the face down. Newdoria was revealed and it destroyed the Rat. Donald played Heavy Storm on his turn, destroying all three of Len's spell or trap cards, then played Premature Burial on Don Zaloog and tributed one of his Samurai's for Cyber Dragon. The Dragon destroyed a Master and Don and Sasuke connected for 2600 and the final card from Len's hand. Donald set a spell or trap and passed.

Len was up now, and he summoned Neo-Spacian Grand Mole to bounce Cyber Dragon. Don and Samurai attacked again and took the Mole out of Len's hand. Len summoned Snipe Hunter on his turn, and attacked into Sakuretsu Armor. With Len defenseless, Donald simply attacked for game next turn.

Len opened the second game by summoning Zombie Master and setting a spell or trap card. Donald responded by setting a spell or trap and a monster card. Len summoned Banisher of the Radiance and attacked into Mirror Force. Donald played Mystical Space Typhoon on his turn, flipped Spirit Reaper, summoned Flying Kamakiri #1, and attacked directly, discarding another Banisher of the Radiance.

Len was up now, and he played Snipe Hunter, activated Brain Control targeting Spirit Reaper, destroying it, set a spell or trap, and passed. Donald played Smashing Ground, attacked into Widespread Ruin, and summoned Treeborn Frog to end his turn. Len was up now, and he summoned Breaker the Magical Warrior and attacked for 1800. Donald brought back his Frog next turn to play Zaborg the Thunder Monarch, destroying Breaker and attacking. Len drew Book of Life, brought back a monster and removed Frog from play, then summoned Raiza the Storm Monarch to bounce Zaborg.

Donald summoned Sasuke Samurai #4 on his turn and passed, Len drew, set a spell or trap, then passed back. Donald used the Samurai as a tribute for Zaborg the Thunder Monarch and attacked directly. Smashing Ground destroyed the Monarch and Len passed. Sasuke Samurai #4 tried an attack for game. Len played Call of the Haunted to bring back Raiza the Storm Monarch, but Donald flipped Bottomless Trap Hole and took the Raiza out of play.

Donald Myers drops the hammer on Zombies one more time in the tournament to move on to the Top 4.
