Well, we had a winner yesterday — Ryan Spicer made a beautiful showing in the Top 8, and a few others came close. It was looking good for a lot of these guys over the course of the day, but in the last few rounds Ryan was the only competitor who was able to hang in there. A good time was had by all though, and after all it’s all about the coverage, isn’t it? Let’s get to it — time for the Parade of Shame!
Brad Poth bemoans his fate . . .
Jake Campbell has some assistance from an eager teammate.
James Roberts came prepared with his own brush!
Ricky Riles and Duy Bui ease the sting by pairing up.
Steven Hills doesn’t care — he enjoyed the Challenge!
Fili Luna takes advantage of his scrub to spruce up a bit for Regionals . . .
Andrew Novoa scrubs it with style.
Russel Jessen gets a hand from Jake McNeely.
Where’d Sammy Huda disappear to? Ah well, we’ve got him anyways!
Kevin Salyer was too busy in Regionals, so we took care of his pic for him . . .
So, where did everyone end up? Some dropped out fairly early, others slugged it out until the end. Here are the final standings of our stalwart participants:
Duy Bui finished 28th, coming back from some earlier losses.
Jake Campbell — SCRUBBED! He dropped from the event.
Steven Hills finished 48th, playing it out to the end.
Sammy Huda finished 33rd, the sole member of Team BFD who was able to make it to the Shonen Jump.
Russell Jessen finished 12th, very close but, alas, not quite close enough. He was the second highest finish.
Fili Luna — SCRUBBED! He dropped from the event.
Andrew Novoa — SCRUBBED! He dropped from the event.
Brad Poth finished 77th — no dropping for him!
Ricky "Nut" Riles — SCRUBBED! He dropped from the event.
James Roberts finished 138th, proudly representing Froot Loops all the way to the end.
Kevin Salyer finished 19th. He was pretty close there at the end.
Ryan Spicer finished first! You can’t get much more “winning” than that — congratulations to Ryan, our Challenge winner!
Ryan was listed last alphabetically, but was definitely our winner this weekend. Look for his interview of victory later on today, and let’s have a round of applause for this weekend’s string of Scrubs! We’ll be back in Seattle with more good, clean fun.
