You’re going first. You’ve got three turns to summon the most monsters possible. Your opponent will summon Molten Zombie on turn 1, then will do nothing on the following turns except his or her required moves. The winner is the person who summons the most monsters by the end of turn 3. In the event of tied submissions, the first tied entry submitted will be the winner.
Your deck can be any size. You may determine all draws you make, as well as the order and contents of your deck.
You may not rely on the opponent’s deck containing particular cards. You can rely on the opponent making choices in your favor when confronted with them—in other words, you can choose what you get from Painful Choice or cards with similar effects.
The challenge ends when you conclude your end phase on turn 3.
If you go below 0 life points or would otherwise lose/draw the game, you lose the challenge. If your opponent goes below 0 life points or would otherwise lose/draw the game, you lose the challenge. Both players begin with 8000 life points.
If you have an infinite solution that involves a repeated loop, you must choose a static number on which to finish (because Yu-Gi-Oh! doesn’t allow infinite loops, just a repeated series of actions a stated number of times . . . sorry Mokey Mokey fans, Challenge One was a warm-up).
Obviously, simply summoning five monsters won’t be enough to win. You may need to find ways to wipe out your own monsters in order to free up monster zones for summoning. If you summon the same monster twice, that’s fine—it’s still considered two summons.
The catch? Well, it’s two-fold. The first is that instead of beginning with five cards, you may begin with up to seven. And the second catch?
Go back and read the first paragraph of this challenge. All the vowels of the English language are used except for one. Any card with that vowel in its name is banned for this challenge.
Have fun, eh?
