Coverage today will likely revolve around the success (or lack thereof) of the innovative players in contention here today. Thanks to Mark Borden, Light and Darkness Dragon has returned to the top tables—a very strong card in the TeleDAD mirror match. Henry Su has evolved Synchro Dude into a totally new beast, playing Lightning Vortex, Diamond Dude, and Mind Control cards alongside new picks like Magical Mallet. And Chris Bowling has had enough of opening hands packed with Emergency Teleport cards and copies of Krebons—he made the shocking decision yesterday to run only two copies of each to prevent bad opening hands, and the gambit paid off.
