Gerard Ramirez was playing a Hybrid deck, while Henry Ke was playing a Magical Scientist First Turn KO. The two duelists had met in round 9 before this match, and Ramirez had swept the match with Ke drawing useless card after useless card. Fate seemed to owe him some luck . . .
Game One
Ramirez won the flip and opened the first game. He played Confiscation, and then used Card Destruction to cycle his hand. He summoned Breaker the Magical Warrior, activated Swords of Revealing Light, and passed his turn.
Ke played Reasoning. He summoned Gilasaurus, activated Last Will, tributed it for Catapult Turtle, and used Last Will to summon out Magical Scientist. Game over.
Game Two
Ramirez did some side decking between games and again opted to open. He set three spells or traps and one monster, and passed.
Ke used Painful Choice, and Ramirez gave him a Reasoning. He then activated Giant Trunade to wipe Ramirez’s three spells/traps, special summoned Gilasaurus, played Last Will, and tributed the dinosaur for Catapult Turtle. He pulled Magical Scientist for Last Will and again took the swift victory. The match was over: two games in two turns.
Match Win: Henry Ke
