Well, it was one of the largest ever Scrub Brush Challenges and, while a few players came close now and then, once again we end without a winner. Still, I know that most of you don’t tune in because you want to see winners; you follow the Challenge because you want to see scrubbing! We certainly had that aplenty, but after taking a closer look at the official scrub brush, I couldn’t help but notice it was looking . . . rather . . . well, scrubby. So, for this challenge, I decided to set up the Winged Kuriboh Grief Counseling Service. The fuzzy little doctor is in!
So, before we get to the final standings for those stalwart competitors that stayed in the event, let’s take a look at the fluffy therapist at work. Some players took it a lot harder than others.
Brian Cornish came close, and he can manage a smile . . .
Bryan Camareno took a lot of consoling.
David Faulkner was positively heartbroken . . .
Deangelo Hoover puts on a stalwart face . . . from behind the counselor.
Homero Aleman struggles to hold his pain in check . . .
With the love and support of the Kuriboh and his friends, Jason Pancho may one day recover.
“Why? Why? Why did this have to happen?” John Schiavone laments as the Kuriboh emits sympathy.
Lakeashia Reed fights to conceal her disappointment . . .
Marco Rodriguez buries his face in Kuriboh’s furry back, and weeps.
Michael Contrelli assays a brave smile.
Mike Lux seeks consolation for the tragic ending to his tournament dreams.
Steven Bates remains stoic behind his shades.
Toby Boas, who of all our competitors had the most cause to mourn, puts a resolute and positive face on despair.
Our Competitors — The Final Standings
Homero Aleman finished 132nd.
Steven Bates finished 73rd.

Bryan Camareno finished 142nd.
Bobby Chambers finished 129th.
Michael “Weevel" Contrelli . . . SCRUBBED! Aawww . . .
