Scrub Brush Challenge Boston — The Aftermath!
Julia Hedberg

Sadly, we didn’t have a single winner this time. I guess since we had two in Hamilton, the law of averages was against us. Anyways, that’s good news for you guys, because you know what you like to see in the scrub brush challenge — lots of scrubbing! Time for the Parade of Shame!!

Mike Pianka shrugs — scrubbings come and go.

Cesar Gonzales came close, but in the end, the Brush prevailed.

Carl Reuschel was dragged up by his friend, who was eager to demonstrate his scrubbing prowess.

John Schiavone gets scrubbed by the originator of the competition!

Tony Basselgia had no shortage of people willing to help with his scrub.

Neither did Jimi Johnson!

And now, a look at our defaulters . . .

Anthony Alvarado — SCRUBBED!

Dylan Pulver — SCRUBBED!

Jake Pulver — SCRUBBED!

Brendan Hubster — SCRUBBED!

Dale Bellido — SCRUBBED!

Kenneth Cardez — SCRUBBED!

And a last look at how everyone (who stayed in the tournament) did:

Anthony Alvarado SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Val Bakalar SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Tony Basselgia — SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Dale Bellido SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event. Lazaro made Top 8 though!

Kenneth Cardez — SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Cesar Gonzales finished 35th, with 7 wins and 3 losses.

Brendan “Curly” Hubster SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Jimi Johnson finished 17th, with 8 wins and 2 losses. Not bad!

Mike Pianka finished 74th, with 6 wins and 4 losses.

Dylan Pulver SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Jake Pulver SCRUBBED! He dropped out of the event.

Carl Reuschel finished 110th, with 6 wins and 4 losses.

John Schiavone finished 89th, with 6 wins and 4 losses.

Anthony Torriero finished 148th, with 5 wins and 5 losses.

That’ll do it for Boston! I will be back in Austin however, in October, with the Challenge you know and love. See you there!
