In an unprecedented move just earlier this afternoon, Dan Scheidegger of Upper Deck Entertainment’s Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG R&D Department issued the following e-mail to all judges!
Dear Judges,
Effective immediately, “Cyber-Stein” is Forbidden for Advanced Format tournaments, and Limited for Traditional Format tournaments.
This change will be reflected on the web page later today.
We hope your players enjoy this holiday present from UDE & Konami.

P.S.—Please send your Holiday wishes to “Cyber Twin Dragon,” it’s going to be a little lonely this season.
It’s finally over—Cyber-Stein will never plague an Advanced duel again, and UDE has made it happen almost three months before the next scheduled format change! The best holiday gift ever? I think so! The official Advanced List has been updated, and you can view the revised version right here. It looks like the only “sacking” going on this holiday season will involve a fat man and a sleigh!
Happy Stein-free holidays from all of us here at Metagame.com!
