So, which provinces were the most represented at today’s event? Out of 109 players:
Ontario — 55 players. The Ontario players tended to write very large. They made up 50% of this year’s event, down a bit from last year.
Québec — 25 players, including several we saw at the recent Shonen Jump. 23% of today’s players came from Québec. This was quite an increase from last year!
Alberta — 8 players came all the way from Alberta, to account for 8% of the tournament.
Manitoba — 5 players made the trip from the next province over, taking a 5% piece of the Yu-Gi-Oh! pie.
British Columbia — 5 more players came all the way from the westernmost province to participate today — 5% of the tournament, up from zero last year!
Nova Scotia — 4 players traveled in from Nova Scotia. They accounted for 4% of the total.
New Brunswick — 3 players arrived from New Brunswick, making up 3% of the participants.
Saskatchewan — 2 players are here today to represent Saskatchewan, 2% of today’s big event.
Two players hail from parts unknown. Good luck to all!
