Andrew recruited Hank Pym ◊ Ant Man to start the turn, and swung in uncontested. 50–48.

On turn 2, Anthony played Dane Whitman ◊ Black Knight in the front row. Andrew responded with Beetle in the front row. He used his ability, discarding Stormfront-1 to fetch Wasp. Hank was set in the support row. Dane smashed into Beetle, and that was the turn. 47–48 to Anthony.

For turn 3, Andrew recruited Ogre and Melissa Gold ◊ Songbird, Sonic Carapace. Beetle and Songbird took the support row, with Ogre in front of Songbird. Anthony played Radioactive Man, Chen Lu, and used a resource point for Dane Whitman. Beetle attacked Radioactive Man with a pump from Ogre. Anthony used Stolen Power on Songbird before the stun. Hank then did the final 2 of the turn.

On turn 4, all Anthony had was Nathan Garrett ◊ Black Knight. It looked to be a bad turn for Anthony when Andrew recruited Carol Danvers ◊ Warbird with a Framistat, paid for by Hank Pym. Warbird and Beetle held the fort in the back, and Hank was set in front of Carol. Anthony used Windstorm on Dane to attack Beetle, causing a mutual stun. Nathan then attacked into Ogre. Carol went for the throat, and the scores were 29–37 to Andrew.

Wasp and Tiger Shark were Andrew’s recruits for turn 5. His formation pushed all of his characters to the front. Anthony had Hawkeye, Clinton Barton, which seemed to be a turn late. A couple of whimpers were heard from Anthony before he passed the recruit. Framistat gave Carol +3 ATK. Beetle was sent into Dane to start combat, resulting in a mutual stun and 2 points of endurance loss each. Carol attacked Hawkeye, but not before he used his activated ability to stun Wasp. Stormfront-1 was used to team up. This allowed Hank and Tiger Shark to team attack Anthony. Before Andrew passed, he played two copies of Call Down the Lightning, as well as Justice, Like Lightning. This reduced Anthony to exactly 0 endurance, and Anthony extended the hand!

Andrew Corney is the only undefeated player left in the tournament with one round remaining.
