 Jacob won the roll and chose the odd initiative. Both players kept their opening hands, Jacob choosing to stay with Boliver Trask, Sentinel Mark V, Magneto, Master of Magnetism, and Cover Fire. On turn 1, Jacob recruited Boliver Trask, who searched for a Sentinel Mark II. Milton activated Optitron, discarding Garth for Mirage. On turn 2, Milton recruited Mirage and revealed Mirage. Optitron was activated, Mirage was discarded for Terra. Mirage attacked Boliver Trask, and Jacob flipped Total Anarchy. On turn 3, Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark II. Milton activated Optitron for Beast Boy, discarding Terra. Sentinel Mark II attacked directly.
For turn 4, Milton recruited Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat. Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark V. Milton passed the initiative and Jacob attacked Dick Grayson with Sentinel Mark V. Both characters were stunned. Sentinel Mark II attacked directly. Turn 5, Jacob recruited a boosted Sentinel Mark V. Milton recruited Beast Boy, flipped two copies of The Brave and The Bold, activated Optitron for Garth ◊ Tempest, discarding Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, Defender of Bludhaven. Milton flipped and activated USS Argus. Sentinel Mark V attacked Beast Boy, who was reinforced. The boosted Sentinel Mark V attacked Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat. Sentinel Mark II attacked directly.
On turn 6, Milton activated USS Argus, then flipped another and activated it. He then recruited Garth ◊ Tempest and Alfred Pennyworth. Jacob recruited Bastion. Milton team attacked Sentinel Mark V with Garth and Dick, playing Dynamic Duo from his hand. Jacob flipped Cover Fire, but Milton played Fizzle, discarding Terra. Jacob flipped another Cover Fire to pumped twice and the attack bounced. Milton played Teen Titans Go! from his hand and re-attacked to stun the Sentinel Mark V. Then, he returned Teen Titans Go! with Garth and stunned Bastion.
On turn 7, Jacob recruited Magneto, Master of Magnetism. Milton activated USS Argus, activated Alfred Pennyworth for Bat-Signal, then exhausted Dick Grayson to activate Bat-Signal to find Dawn Granger ◊ Dove. He recruited Dawn with boost. He used Optitron to fetch Spoiler ◊ Robin. Jacob then activated Genosha, and attacked Garth with Bastion. Milton played Heroic Sacrifice from his hand, stunning and KO’ing Dove. Magneto attacked Spoiler with two pumps. Spoiler could not be reinforced due to Milton’s formation, but Garth returned the Heroic Sacrifice and Milton played it. In response, Jacob played Nasty Surprise and Overload on Spoiler, stunning and KO’ing her and then readying Magneto. Magneto then attacked Hank Hall. Milton again played Heroic Sacrifice, stunning Dick Grayson. Jacob again responded with Nasty Surprise and Overload . . . and Milton scooped.

 Game Two
Both players again kept their opening hands, Jacob keeping two Sentinel Mark V, Nimrod, and Bastion. Milton chose the odd initiative and recruited Alfred Pennyworth on turn 1. Jacob missed his drop. On turn 2, Milton activated Optitron for Mirage, discarding Roy. He recruited Mirage and attacked directly, since Jacob missed another drop. For turn 3, Milton recruited Dawn Granger ◊ Dove with boost. Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark II. Milton team attacked with Hank, Dawn, and Mirage. He exhausted Alfred Pennyworth to Bat-Signal for Terra.
On turn 4, Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark V, and Milton recruited Terra. Terra activated to shoot Sentinel Mark II. Sentinel Mark V attacked Terra and she stunned. On the fifth turn, Milton attempted to activate Alfred Pennyworth, but the effect was negated by Sentinel Mark II, discarding a Sentinel Mark II. Milton recruited Garth ◊ Tempest, and Jacob recruited Nimrod. Garth attacked Sentinel Mark II, then Hank, Dawn, Mirage and Terra team attacked Nimrod. Jacob’s Sentinel Mark V attacked Hank, and Garth returned Optitron to Milton’s hand.
Jacob recruited Bastion on turn 6. Milton flipped Optitron so Terra could shoot Sentinel Mark II. Milton then recruited Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat with boost, stunning Sentinel Mark V and then recruiting Alfred Pennyworth. Bastion attacked Garth, and Milton used Heroic Sacrifice, stunning Dawn. Nimrod attacked Alfred Pennyworth. Garth returned Optitron to Milton’s hand. Jacob chose to recover Sentinel Mark II in hopes of using his ability to stop either Terra or Alfred Pennyworth. Milton prayed for one of his seven team-up cards but still didn’t draw it.
Garth returned Roy Harper ◊ Arsenal to Milton’s hand on turn 7. Milton recruited Roy and Beast Boy. Mirage pumped Roy, then another Mirage was recruited. Jacob recruited Magneto, Master of Magnetism, then activated Genosha. Jacob then pumped Roy Harper with a Sentinel Mark V, played Reconstruction Program, pumped Roy two more times, and played Overload. Milton played Fizzle, discarding Spoiler. Milton team attacked Bastion with Roy, Terra, Garth, Beast Boy, and Mirage. Teen Titans Go! readied the attackers. Beast Boy, Mirage, Garth, and Terra all exhausted to pump Roy, who tried to shoot Bastion to ready all the original attackers. Sentinel Mark II activated to negate Roy’s effect. Milton used Alfred Pennyworth to fetch another Teen Titans Go! and played it. Garth, Beast Boy, and Mirage pumped Roy, and Terra shot the Sentinel Mark II. Roy activated to shoot Bastion again—this time it worked, and the original attackers readied. Terra, Garth, Beast Boy, and Mirage team attacked Nimrod. Roy shot Magneto. Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat attacked directly. On turn 8, Jacob recruited a new Bastion. Milton finally played The Brave and The Bold, and recruited Alfred Pennyworth and Batman, Caped Crusader. Three Heroic Sacrifices later, Jacob scooped.

Game Three
Jacob finally used a mulligan upon drawing Savage Beatdown, Nasty Surprise, Overload, and Genosha. He chose the odd initiative. Milton kept his hand. Neither player recruited a character on the first turn. On the second turn, Milton used Optitron to fetch Mirage, discarding Raven. He recruited Mirage, revealing Dawn Granger ◊ Dove. Jacob recruited a Sentinel Mark III. Milton passed the initiative and Jacob attacked Mirage, flipping Total Anarchy to KO her. Milton flipped The Brave and The Bold in response and exhausted Mirage to Bat-Signal for Garth ◊ Tempest.
On turn 3, Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark II. Milton used Optitron to fetch Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat, discarding Dawn Granger ◊ Dove. He passed the initiative without recruiting a character. Jacob attacked Milton directly. Milton recruited Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat on turn 4, then activated USS Argus. Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark V. Dick attacked Sentinel Mark II, but Jacob flipped a Nasty Surprise and a Cover Fire. Milton played Flame Trap, discarding two copies of Fizzle, and the attack stunned both characters. Jacob attacked directly with Sentinel Mark V.
On turn 5, Jacob recruited Sentinel Mark V with boost. Milton activated USS Argus, then recruited Garth ◊ Tempest. The boosted Sentinel Mark V attacked Garth with one pump. Garth exhausted to Bat-Signal for another copy of Garth and pumped. Jacob used Reconstruction Program and pumped the Sentinel Mark V again. Garth returned the other copy and pumped again. Both characters stunned. The unboosted Sentinel Mark V attacked Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, High-Flying Acrobat, who pumped with the 6-drop Dick Grayson. Jacob played Savage Beatdown on Sentinel Mark V. Milton used Bat-Signal to fetch Batman, Caped Crusader. Both characters stunned.
Milton recruited Batman, Caped Crusader and Jacob recruited Nimrod on the sixth turn. Milton team attacked Nimrod, playing Dynamic Duo from his hand. Teen Titans Go! allowed Nimrod to be stunned and another Teen Titans Go! stunned a Sentinel Mark V. Garth returned Raven to Milton’s hand.
Turn seven, Jacob recruited Bastion. Milton activated USS Argus, then flipped and activated another copy. Nimrod attacked Garth with two pumps and Garth stunned. Bastion attacked Raven, getting pumped twice to send Jacob on to the finals.
