Welcome to the Vs. System $10K tournament coverage, coming to you live from Wizard World Texas! Players have come from all over the country—red states and blue states alike—to do battle for their share of this weekend’s $10,000 cash prize.

There are exactly 100 players in attendance today, and they’re in for ten rounds of play. This will mark the first time that a $10K event has been played in the US using the new 1 game/half-hour format. We’ll be bringing you player reactions to this change, plus a metagame breakdown, player interviews, new deck technology updates, and feature matches. Follow along as 92 players fall out of the race for a slot in tomorrow’s elimination rounds.
