Round 4 pitted Alex Brown, who hails from Sydney, Australia, against Albert Won, an up and coming local.

Albert Won won the die roll and took the odd initiatives, considered by many to be the worse option. Albert kept his starting hand, while Alex opted to mulligan.

Turn 1: Neither player played anything.

Turn 2: Alex recruited Longshot, Hero of Mojoworld, while Albert played Cannonball, screaming "Cannonball!" at the top of his lungs. Endurance totals stood at 48 to 48.

Turn 3: Albert played Xorn and put both of his characters in the front row. Alex played his own Cannonball. Albert took down Longshot with Cannonball, and Alex's Cannonball dropped to Xorn. Albert sat at 48 to Alex's 42.

Turn 4: Alex played Spoor; Albert followed up with one of his own, giving us a Mutant Nation mirror match. Alex's Cannonball attacked Xorn and got +3 ATK from Spoor to take him down. Albert reinforced the attack with his Cannonball. Alex attacked Spoor with his own Spoor, bringing Albert's endurance to 41 while Alex sat at 38. To this point in the game, neither player had played a plot twist, both electing to save their goodies until the crucial turn of the game.

Turn 5: Albert played Polaris and pushed all his characters into the front row. Alex leaned back in his chair and thought for a while finally deciding to recruit Feral. He paid 1 resource point and put her in the hidden area. Albert attacked Alex's Spoor with Cannonball, using his own Spoor to give the X-Man +3 ATK and playing a Kidney Punch. Alex flipped X-Men United and used his Cannonball to reinforce his Spoor. Albert sent his Spoor into Cannonball, and Alex replaced his team-Up to reinforce. Polaris attacked directly, bringing Alex to 23 endurance. Alex attacked with Feral into Albert's Cannonball, bringing his endurance total to 30.

Turn 6: Alex played Scaleface, and Albert played Blob, Freedom Force. Alex put Spoor and Scaleface in his front row, while Feral was left to chill in the hidden area. Albert set up with Blob and Spoor in his front row; Blob was protecting Cannonball, while Polaris was protected by Spoor. Feral attacked Blob and got +3 ATK from Spoor. Spoor got Phase Shifted, and Alex declared an attack on Polaris with Spoor. Albert didn't have a reservist to use for Polaris's power, and Spoor got Planet Xed, forcing the mutual stun. Scaleface attacked Cannonball, and Alan played Mutant Massacre. The endurance totals at the end of the turn were 15 for Alex versus Albert's 2.

Turn 7: Albert recruted Juggernaut, The Unstoppable and put him in the front with Spoor and Blob. Alex played Fabian Cortez in the support row right next to Spoor, who was set up behind Scaleface. Juggernaut attacked Scaleface, and when Spoor was also stunned by Juggernaut's ability, Alex went to -3. Albert then team-attacked Fabian Cortez with Blob and Spoor. Alex played The Evil Eye, bringing the endurance totals to -3 to -3, but the team attack got Alex to -10, while Albert stood at -9.
