Packing fast aggressive decks, two of Malaysia’s finest faced off in a Titans vs. Brotherhood aggro match-up. Au Yong took the initiative and opened with turn 1 Dove, while Luke brought out Mastermind. Au Yong began the damage race early with the help of Tamaran, and what a head start it was! Turn 2 saw Luke miss a drop, while Au Yong’s board featured a Hawk and Dove, followed up by Beast Boy on turn 3. Luke recruited Quicksilver to staunch the bleeding from the Teen Titans, and tried to show the power of his deck by revealing The New Brotherhood. However, a well-timed Foiled from Au Yong ensured that Luke’s important 4-drop would not arrive too soon. Forced to play defensively, Luke tried to bring the game back with Sabretooth, Feral Rage, Speed Demon, and Magneto. He was, however, dangerously hovering at 11 endurance. Teamwork prevailed as Beast Boy and Tim Drake stunned Sabretooth and Terra, and Red Star tagged and bagged Quicksilver. Teen Titans Go! sealed the game for Au Yong.
