The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017

While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

He’s done it yet again! Alex “The Boy Wonder” Antonios is once again the wunderkind of Vs. Australia! This guy just keeps winning and he’s so darned nice about it! He actually requested that he get to pose “leaning on something like Vidi Wajiwa”, dubbed “ALEX 4 PREZ!”

Alex’s Shadowpact deck won in a clean and tidy 2-0 result against Scott Hunstad.  Hunstad’s deck was packing four Kendra Saunders ◊ Hawkgirl! However, it wasn’t enough to stop Antonios, who eventually took the crown once again. This makes it 6 straight tournaments in a row for the youngster and the pros should take notice: he’s planning to head to a PC later this year, and he is certainly not to be underestimated.

Congratulations to all the finalists and players for a great weekend of Vs. System, and especially to Alex we know we’ll see big things from him in the future.

Day 2
Who will it be? The youngster Alex or the seasoned Scott? Stay tuned for this massive David vs. Goliath match-up!
Jason Zhe proved hilarious in his previous feature match. The Yu-Gi-Oh! convert has been an inspiration to many potential players, as the 15-year-old sits at the Top 8 table at his very first $10K.
We followed Kakarot through his Top 8 draft to see what it is that makes him so consistently successful, and whether he can build a deck that will finally allow him to break through and claim a Vs. $10K crown.
We sat down with Adelaide $10k's Top 8 players to discuss just what makes them tick and how they draft.
With both players sitting on the bubble at 6-2, one of these arch-enemies will make it through to Top 8 today!
Jason Zhe is a local Adelaidian player who is playing-up with a solid 6-2 record over the event. His JSA-centric deck has already taken him to one victory today, but can he get that essential win to push him into Top 8 contention?
Michael Pittman. We saw him take out Sealed Pack as the only undefeated player with 7-0 on day 1, and we've had an inside view on his drafting strategies this morning. Will $10K Adelaide's underdog remain undefeated?
In his hometown, Scott continues to play four back-to-back drafts at a time, all the while insisting that he is weak in the set! Honestly, does anyone actually believe him?
Easy to dismiss but hard to ignore, Luke has forced his way back into attention during Crisis, making it practically impossible to not consider him a contender.
We peered over Michael’s shoulder as he sits at the top table for the first time in his Vs. System career to see his picks for the draft, and then sat with him to get an insight into his deck-building strategies.
Last night saw the finals of the Team Sealed where Infinite Misers, comprising Paul Ross, The Ben Seck, and Jonathan Luey, took on Australia/New Zealand team The Four Horsemen, made up of Shaun Hayward, Kakarot Turker, and Darren Ying.
Day 1
Ben's JSA / Villains United build has taken him to 2-0 in this pod thus far! His trademark "jinxy" shuffle is notorious for instilling bad luck on players and he must be hoping that its charms will work for him today!
Alex's previewed deck won its first round nicely and it should prove interesting to see how it is performing first hand here at the feature table.
Is he seeing something that the rest of us just aren't? Is there something we have all missed? We sat down first hand with the new star of Vs. Australia, Alex Antonios, to find out just how he does quite so well all of the time.
Stay tuned, one and all, to see whether machismo beats square-headedness, and whether the infamous Luke Bartter can beat none other than Jack Black himself . . . oh wait, we mean Troy Armstrong.
Shaun Hayward sits quite comfortably at 4-0 after Pool 1 of Sealed Pack this $10k.
Paul Van Der Werk has taken his Villains United-centric build to 2-0 thus far. Costa Kantzavelos is a South Australian player making the hometown proud with his similarly Villains United focused build.
A key designer of the ‘High Voltage’ and 'Good Guys' decks and 'GLEE' (which later formed the basis of G’Lock) Shaun has proven he's up to scratch in constructed. Can he make the cut in Sealed Pack today?
Scott comes to the table with his massive experience in Sealed Pack, and just back from Pro Circuit San Francisco. Kakarot is the local hero, and today's underdog.
Both Michael and Adrian are Melbournites, and Adrian walks into this round confident, considering his track record against Michael is in his favor. Will Melbourne's hero triumph? Or will an underdog claim victory?
Back in Sydney, players know that "Caps" is the guy to beat, and yet he remains under the proverbial radar. Who is Adrian Capilitan and why does he win?
Practically top of the Oceanic tables, this world-regarded player is still yet to prove himself in a professional context.
The man of Ten Teams fame, Kakarot comes in today as the local Adelaide Vs. System champ.
Having taken the names of practically all of Australia's pros, surely it's only a matter of luck and time until he has a Sealed Pack $10K notch on his belt too.
