The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017

While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

Free Stuff at the Sneak Preview!

For the last two weeks, we’ve seen plenty of reasons why The Avengers is such an exciting set. This weekend’s Sneak Preview event is the best way to not only play with the new cards first, but to have the most fun you’ll ever have playing Vs. System. Anyone who has been to one of these events in the past will tell you how much fun it is to play with new cards, and if you’ve already been to one before, I doubt I need to convince you further.

If playing with a new set for the first time wasn’t enough to get you out of the house and to your local Sneak Preview this weekend, I’ve got a few more reasons why you should show up.

We previewed Earth’s Mightiest Heroes yesterday, and you’ll be able to win this extended art version of the card if you’re a top finisher at your Sneak Preview event. +7 ATK is more brutal than even the most savage of Savage Beatdowns, but with one of these you’ll look pretty while you’re smashing face.

Everyone who enters will receive two free stacker cards while supplies last. Check out this hot one by Adi Granov:

The Alex Ross Avengers piece has been leaving players and comic book fans drooling since it was released. Finally, Vs. players will be able to own a copy of this spectacular artwork—it not only looks awesome, but it will shield your cards from random table scraps as well. I don’t think I’m alone when I say that this is the most impressive playmat that’s been given away at a Sneak Preview event so far.

It wouldn’t be a Sneak Preview without deck boxes and t-shirts. These Avengers deck boxes are a cool blue and feature Thor and Iron Man. The t-shirts have a similar blue hue with an Avengers logo on the front. What’s on the back? You’ll have to see for yourself!

In order to get playmats, t-shirts, and deckboxes, you must play in the first tournament of the day. Half of the items will be given away to the top finishers, and half will be given away at random as door prizes. At least 50 percent of players will walk away with at least one of these items. Contact the tournament organizer for your local Sneak Preview event to find out when the first tournament will be on each day.

For international locations, players should check the event website and contact their tournament organizer for exact information on how prizes will be distributed.
