Michael won the die roll and decided to go with the odd initiative. |

These players met before in the Swiss rounds, where Dominic carried the game. Because of that, Tze Hong was understandably tense. |

Waiting is usually the hardest part of any activity, and today was no exception. Snatches of nervous conversation could be heard from amongst the players as the judges began the round of deck checks. |

Having Pro Circuit Amsterdam as the sole template upon which to model itself, I expected the local metagame to take after the Top 8 from PC Amsterdam. I was pleasantly surprised to find I was wrong. |

Edgar is currently at the top of the standings and is the only undefeated player left. A local judge has just come up to me with an interesting tidbit of information. Both of these top-notch players are also retailers and hold their own Hobby Leagues in their stores. I’ll be calling this the Clash of the Retailers. |

This match was chosen for the feature match table for two reasons. One, I talked to Daniel about his deck some time back and I want to see it in action. Two, his opponent happens to be named Lacuna. I wonder if Miss Marvel Team-Up is somehow related to him. |

This was one match that I couldn’t miss. I interviewed Jonathan a little earlier and I really want to see his four-affiliation deck in action. |

There was a howl of approval from the crowd as this feature match was announced. These players are apparently hugely popular in the local gaming community. |

Both players are old friends and were exchanging casual banter as I approached the table. As it turns out, Jose Maria helped Walter design his deck for the tournament. Walter’s pretty new to the game. |

One of the more interesting decks I’ve seen revolves around Blade’s ability to grant his comrades bonuses to their stats. |

Daniel Enerio Jacobsen played in Pro Circuit Indianapolis and is one of the top Constructed players in Asia. He shares his experience with us at the end of round 3. |

Jonathan De Joseph is ranked second in the Constructed ratings for Asia. He is playing a self-concocted four-team affiliation deck that is doing surprisingly well. I managed to get him to spill the beans on his brainchild at the end of the second round. |

Jose Florencio Tanhoeco, Jr. is ranked third in the Constructed ratings in Asia. He belongs to Team Anjazz, one of the top teams in the country. He sat down with me before the tournament to run through his deck choice. |

Before the tournament, I caught up with Vincent Chan, the winner of $10K Malaysia, to ask him a few questions. |
