Uncanny! Astonishing! The X-Men take the win in Kuala Lumpur’s $10K! Fighting through a tide of fast beatings from Teen Titans, hunted by Sentinels, and even battling the rival Brotherhood, Vincent Chan and his X-men stall deck (made popular by Team TOGIT at PC LA) took the trophy. He fought through a widely varied Top, including an exhausting mirror match with Chan Yong Hui in the semifinals, to take the win against veteran card player Au Yong Wai Kin and his finely tuned Teen Titans Go! deck.

The cheering crowd was happy that Chan kept the trophy at home, as the Top 8 consisted of four players from Singapore—including Jonathan Koe, who had a money finish at PC LA. Local hero Vincent confidently deployed his mutants with careful moves until 11 p.m., earning a place in the history books as Southeast Asia’s first Vs. System $10K champion.
