Despite the threat of Hurricane Frances, dedicated players from the Vs. community came to Atlanta’s Dragon*Con for a shot at a tournament title and a piece of the $10,000 up for grabs at the latest installment of the Convention Championships. In the end, it was Wess Victory and his Teen Titans taking the trophy and the $2500 first place prize. The post-Pro Circuit Vs. metagame has seemingly taken a shift towards the young heroes, with four of the players in the Top 8 using Teen Titans. Interestingly, Wess Victory’s championship version was the only one to utilize Twin Firearms, which may cause public perception of the card to change drastically.

Up next, the $10,000 Championships go international, with tournaments in Australia and England. Metagame will be there to bring you live coverage, as we see how Vs System is played across the globe.
