The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017

While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

Teen Titans Go! After eight grueling rounds of Swiss on Saturday, eight competitors returned this morning to face off in gladiatorial single-elimination combat. After the dust settled, only Englishman Tim Willoughby remained. Tim took down Paul Theissen and his Medium Brotherhood deck in the quarters, and then slogged through a game Ben Stoll and his Mutant Nation deck in the semis, setting up a battle with the only undefeated player in the tournament, former TCG pro Paul Sottosanti.

Up until the finals, most players had posed little threat to Sottosanti’s Wild Vomit deck, as “Future” and his robot army crushed dreams. Longshot was always in play, and drawing Paul cards like it was his job, letting Future overwhelm his opponents round after round. Sottosanti’s opponent missed his quarterfinals match, awarding him a free win, and Tony Tsai and his Fantastic Four deck posed no problem in the semis, setting up a huge Teen Titans vs. Wild Vomit finals. In the end, however, Future’s luck ran out, and Willoughby took home the crown with a flawless finals sweep, dealing Sottosanti his first loss of the weekend.

Congratulations to Tim Willoughby, the Gen Con Indy $10K Champion!
