Card# MTU-017
While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

More than anything else, this metagame represents diversity. There are three Squadron Supreme decks (two distinct varieties), two X-Faces decks, two Hellfire Club decks, and one Mental deck. Even a week after Atlanta, when you would think that the metagame would have been solved, this Top 8 clearly shows that both aggressive and controlling strategies have the tools to compete. This tournament’s Top 8 also has a diversity of players—perennial Sunday competitors Spears and Reeves are joined by neophytes like Page and Rau. Want to know which of these decks, and which of these players, will come out on top? It’s truly anybody’s game, so you’ll have to stick around tomorrow. Coverage starts as soon as the Top 8 does, so check in early for all the action as we determine the winner of $10K Austin! |
