The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017

While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

You want variety? You got it. As expected, the first-place deck in San Francisco was the most-played deck of the tournament, represented by over a fifth of the field. Next up was the runner-up deck, and after that . . . well, things get a little confusing. Players have tried pretty much every viable, semi-viable, and not-even-close-to-viable team combination for this event. An interesting point is that the Ivy League deck, which took four spots in San Francisco’s Top 8, is only being run by three players today. Considered by many professionals to be the best deck in the format, its absence is surprising to say the least. Another item of note is the Wrecking Crew combo deck. If you haven’t seen it before, the deck functions like Faces of Evil swarm with JLI. It uses Poison Ivy to fill up the row with copies of Kooey Kooey Kooey and KO’s them all on one turn to search for four copies of The Wrecking Crew. Neat.
