 Welcome to Columbus, Ohio, the breadbasket of America’s TCG craze. While New England may sport the highest population density of gamers in the nation, Ohio always seems to sport the highest event attendance. 124 players showed up this weekend to get their Green Lantern Sealed Pack on, and the field is packed with big names. Last week’s $10K winner, Jason Hager, is here, as are his teammates Matt Oldaker and Anthony Justice. PC and $10K Philly runner-up Craig Edwards is here, as is Mark Slack. Nick Little and Gabe Walls came over from Indiana, Adam Prosak is here from Arizona, Sammy Gilly is here, and so is Wes Victory—the list of notables goes on and on.
Day 1 will feature eight rounds of Swiss and a cut to the Top 24, who will return here tomorrow morning to draft one round before we pare the field down to eight players for the elimination rounds.
