 Yoshiyuki Yamane played in the first $10K Tokyo last year. He started playing when Kunihiko Kishishita introduced him to the game while he was working part time at Fireball, the same shop where Kishishita works.
What teams did you pick today?
I have a combination of Justice League International, Injustice Gang, and Secret Society. A bit scattered, but the best I could get in the draft.
You seemed a bit nervous?
Yeah. Ikeda-san, my opponent is a very experienced player.
How did your first game go?
I lost, but the attack and defense was really interesting. Ikeda came on strong, and I had to defend with everything I had. Rocket Red #4 was all I had for a couple of turns against Bluejay, Scarecrow, Crimson Fox, and Oberon. In the end it was Gorilla Grodd vs. Charaxes, Killer Moth, but it was too late for me by then.
What’s your favorite card in your deck?
Martian Manhunter, J’onn J’onzz, but I didn’t get him out in that game. |
