The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017
While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

It’s an average Seattle day, and 81 players have braved one of the city’s signature downpours to compete in the latest tournament in the Vs. $10K series. Today’s venue, the Seattle Center, sits in the shadow of the Space Needle. It is playing host to such famed players as Peter Sundholm and Jaime Tachiyama, as well as a large field of admirable up-and-comers looking to make a name for themselves.
Team Realmworx is out in full force, represented by Carl Perlas, Vidianto Wijaya, and Patrick Yapjoco. After a less than ideal showing at PC Amsterdam, the team is back and ready to prove that they are worthy of the hype.
The format is Golden Age, and with new decks like Brotherhood of Mephisto and the awe-inspiring Fantastic Fun running wild in the environment, it should be a real slobberknocker! With many established players still running Curve Sentinels and Teen Titans, questions still seem to remain about the validity of the new tech that has recently exploded onto the scene. As the first major event after PC: Amsterdam and its $10K, it looks like all of those questions may be answered over the course of the day. Stay with us here at Metagame.com as we bring you live round-by-round standings and pairings, roundup coverage, deck tech, metagame breakdowns, and interviews with the best that $10K Seattle has to offer. |
