Over the summer, Upper Deck partnered with Marvel Entertainment to include alternate art Vs. System cards (Spider-Man, Magneto) in three comic issues, including an EA foil Hawkeye in House of M #5.

Coming in November, Upper Deck and DC Comics will be presenting a Batman micro-comic called “Dead Man’s Hand” that will feature cards from the Batman starter deck in a three-page comic insert. This insert, illustrated by renowned artist Ariel Olivetti, will appear across all major DC comic titles in the month of November.

In addition to the comic, there will be an accompanying sweepstakes page where players can win a copy of Absolute Batman: Hush autographed by Jim Lee, a complete set of series one Batman: Hush action figures, a one year subscription to Batman comics, and many other great prizes. Be sure to keep an eye out for this Vs. System micro-comic and remember to enter the sweepstakes!

In Batman issue #647, which hits the shelves on November 16, an alternate art Batman promo will be included with the micro-comic. This awesome new version of Batman, Shadow of the Bat from the Batman starter deck will feature amazing alternate artwork by comic legend Jim Lee.
