 Across the ocean in London, European players are making their last attempts at the Golden Age format before the Pro Circuit in two weeks. Here in Texas, though, 100 American pros and local players alike have taken a break from the established formats to play in an event that highlights a brand new set. The Sneak Preview tournaments for Justice League of America were just last weekend, so for many of the players here, this is only their first or second look at the set. That fact has done little to keep the pros away, though—among the attendees here are Pro Circuit champions Ryan Jones, Adam Horvath, and Adam Bernstein, as well as an array of big names from all around the country. It’s said that Sealed Pack is a very skill intensive format, and drafting with a set that no one has much experience with might be the greatest test of natural skill that Vs. has to offer. The professionals here think their chances are good enough to have made the trip, and the locals are counting on everyone’s inexperience to level the playing field in their favor.
