The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017
While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

With nine undefeated players left at the tournament’s half-way mark, the top four tables were the only ones certain to produce undefeated players. What follows is a look at how those four matches went down.
Table One: Tony Barda vs. Josh Karau
Barda (no relation to Big Barda) drew, drew, and drew some more. Cosmic Radiation proved key as Common Enemy took down Curve Sentinels on turn 6, despite Bastion making an appearance.
Table Two: Shane Wiggins vs. Tim Batow
Batow’s unusual Rigged Elections deck was undefeated coming into the round, but Wiggins, who shares a home store with Batow, knew the Elections deck would be present. Wiggins’s Evil Medical School runs Have a Blast! because of Batow’s deck, and it proved to be the difference maker here. Shane won on turn 6 without a Rigged Elections in play.
Table Three: Ben Kellner vs. Lawson Sutherland
This Curve Sentinels mirror match was decided on turn 7. Ben ripped Magneto, Master of Magnetism off the top on turn 7, allowing him to maximize the three Genoshas he already had face-down in his resource row. The Pastimes employee is now undefeated halfway through the tournament, with the home crowd squarely behind him.
Table Four: Jeremy Pinter vs. Eric Beckendorff
Pinter’s X-Stall, running Gravesite instead of Cerebro, did what its name suggests it’s supposed to do—stall. He missed his 3- and 4-drops while Curve Sentinels went to town, with Hounds of Ahab proving itself a wrecking ball. Beckendorff won on turn 7.
