The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017

While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

$10K San Francisco
Metagame Staff

Nick Little has now joined the illustrious group of two-time $10K Champions with his win here at $10K San Francisco! The Pro Circuit veteran adds another trophy and big tournament finish to his resume, which continues to grow. Charles Toratani impressed many this weekend as well, coming in second place at his first $10K tournament.

This was the first major tournament to feature Infinite Crisis draft, and it did not disappoint in a competitive environment. There are many big tournaments left to draft the new set, but for now, Nick Little has the upper hand in the format and the title to prove it!

Day 2
It’s Charles’s first $10K event ever and he finds himself playing in the finals against a former $10K Champion.
Nick and Luke started off with some small talk about their Draft decks as they shuffled up before the match.
John-Michael Erlendson is the creator of the infinite loop “Ghostbusters” deck from Day 1 of Pro Circuit San Francisco and here he is finding himself on the doorstep of a Top 8 finish in $10K San Francisco.
By now you know who Luke Bartter is here at $10K San Francisco, but Quang Nguyen has seemingly squeaked through 10 rounds with no feature, so you know what that means: it’s about time for that feature.
Vince Greco is on quite a roll—with a record of 8-1 after Day 1, he looks confident he can make it to the Top 8 of this weekend’s event. Nick Little, who had one of the most interesting Sealed decks in the field yesterday, is here today to finish the job with his Draft skills.
Australian native Luke Bartter has been on a roll lately with a money finish at $10K Sydney and another one here at $10K San Francisco.
Day 1
This is Jesus Esterada’s first $10K event—and sitting at table one during the last round is never a bad way to end your first day at a $10K!
This penalty reflects Upper Deck Entertainment’s strong stance against cheating, reaffirming that such behavior is not tolerated at events.
I couldn’t resist covering a match between both of the players I did sealed deck profiles on.
Martin Weis has had feature matches before, but none of them were actually covered by Metagame.com. It looks like today may be his lucky day—not only is he 4-1 after the first sealed deck, but it looks like he might have the stuff to make it far in this weekend’s event.
Dave Spears is 4-1 after the first sealed deck and is wearing by far the best shirt in the entire venue.
We all know Alex Shvartsman from Kings Games in New York, but Alan Havey isn’t quite as famous. Alan has only been featured one other time (at the $10K in Anaheim), and he’s looking to make a bigger name for himself.
Both players are 2-0, with Bulk sporting the deck that was featured earlier.
In today’s round 2 feature match are two players who aren’t exactly “new” to the pro level experience.
Bulk Lao is no stranger to the world of Vs. System. With quite a few accomplishments under his belt, he finds himself outside of Day 2 of the Pro Circuit and participating in the Infinite Crisis Sealed Pack $10K today.
Mark Slack has been a well-known player in the Vs. System world since the game’s inception.
