What deck did you play this weekend and why? X-Faces. It’s probably still the best deck in the format.

 

What do you think is the best deck in the format and why? X-Faces, because it’s consistent and powerful.

 

What do you anticipate the PC: SF metagame will look like? There will be a lot of bad decks, then there will be whatever we bring to the PC.

 

What do you think of the new Energy burn deck? I built it about five weeks before the PC. Dave Spears liked it, so I immediately knew it was terrible. It’s good against control, but not very good against aggro.

What do you think is the best deck in the format and why? X-Faces, because it just is.

 

What do you anticipate the PC: SF metagame will look like? GLOCK, AGL, Squadron, Emperor Joker, etc. Something with the Midnight Sons engine.

 

What do you think of the new Energy burn deck? It’s total garbage. It auto-loses to faces and squad. Jesse just got lucky.

What deck did you play this weekend and why? Mental. It doesn’t suffer from trash draws like Squad and isn’t as stressful to play as X-Faces.

 

What do you think is the best deck in the format and why? X-Faces. It’s very adaptable, very explosive.

 

What do you anticipate the PC: SF metagame will look like? Mostly AGL and Squad (40% of the field) and various “short curve” decks. Control decks in Enemy of My Enemy in the top seats.

 

What do you think of the new Energy burn deck? Modern formats [are restrictive], so it won’t matter after Sunday.

What do you think of the new Energy burn deck? I don’t like it, but it should beat Mental and Hellfire.
