Hello all,
This week, I want to give you a little bit more information on the new Vs. System web site. Every few days I get an update on the site, and it’s really coming together nicely.
Here’s a list of some of the features you can look forward to:
Vs. System Home Page
This is going to be your primary portal to the world of Vs. System. Here you can find the latest information on Organized Play—from Pro Circuits to Hobby League, and everything in between. There will also be a new and improved functionality for event coverage, as well as an archive of past events. New players will find links to a beginners’ area that will help them get started playing Vs. System, including an online demo. There will also be a link to the new Vs. Forums!
Separate Areas for Marvel, DC, and Hellboy
Each comic universe’s area will feature a card list, art gallery, and the latest product information.
The most used area of the site, however, will undoubtedly be the articles section. All the great content that you’ve come to expect from Metagame.com will now be available on our new site, including an archive of all past articles. This really makes the new site one-stop shopping for Vs. players.
So when do you get this website goodness? You can expect the site to go live in time for PC: Sydney, if not sooner.
Before I sign off this week, I also want to give you an update on Hellboy. After a long delay, the Hellboy Essential Collection has arrived and is starting to ship. You can look for it in stores beginning February 28th. I want to thank all the players for their patience during the delay; trust me when I say that all of us here at UDE want to get our hands on some Hellboy cards just as much as you do!
