The Sentry™
Card# MTU-017
While his stats aren’t much bigger than those of the average 7-drop, Sentry’s “Pay ATK” power can drastically hinder an opponent’s attacking options in the late game.

Cory Braiterman LCQ Sealed Pack Decklist Top 4 Characters 1 Fists of the Guardian Plot Twists Locations Equipment Braiterman has Two-Face and Sinestro in his deck, making things very difficult for his opponents on turn 7. He also has Chopping Block and Dr. Ub'X, giving him strong board control elements, a couple of team-ups, and . . . well, according to Tim Willoughby, the deck is actually absurd, putting the New Yorker and Neutral Ground employee in the main event tomorrow. Christian Calcano LCQ Sealed Pack Decklist Top 4 Characters Plot Twists Equipment Calcano's deck isn't quite as busty as Braiterman's, but he has some strong characters from each team to combo with teamups and reasonable plot twists. It's a basic example of a deck that did not need bombs to succeed, but gets by on efficiency of quality men and a good curve. Jason Liu LCQ Sealed Pack Decklist Top 4 Characters 2 Soldiers of the New Genesis Plot Twists Locations Equipment This deck features another Two-Face and another Light Armor (Braiterman's deck also had one), which is probably the handiest of the Green Lantern equipment. The deck has a pretty standard curve and looks relatively defensive, but it can afford to be that way when you have Two-Face hanging out on turn 7 to smash face. Amilcar Cardona LCQ Sealed Pack Decklist Top 4 Characters Plot Twists Locations There's no Two-Face in Cardona's deck, but it does have the 7-drop Sinestro plus loads of Green Lantern characters, all of whom are reasonable or better. Two copies of Tomar Re let Cardona search for any and all of his plot twists, a very useful ability, especially since it solves any affiliation issues that he'd run across. |
