 Rei Hashimoto enters the quarterfinals with a 7-3 record, hoping that his build following the draft will take him to the final round. “I was trying to draft Injustice Gang, and I got both Lex Luthor and Scarecrow, but I couldn’t get IQ. I ended up taking Gorilla Grodd to round out my high-end drops.”
What’s the strategy for your deck?
Get the Injustice Gang Satellite and Criminal Mastermind out.
Who do you think will be the toughest competition?
Akira Asahara. He’s a famous player.
Is the Japanese TCG tournament community pretty close?
Yes, we all know each other from various events.
How long have you been playing Vs. System?
Since Avengers, but I really like Justice League. I prefer a defensive strategy, and Avengers was too offense-oriented. I don’t have any Golden Age cards, though.
How did you get into Vs. System?
I heard about it through the players’ network here. Everyone said if it came out with a Japanese-language release, they would try it.
Who’s your favorite character?
I like Ghost Rider. |
