One of the hallmarks of the Vs. System is the amazing original artwork created for each set by the top comic artists in the industry. From the launch of the game, we’ve highlighted these images through specialty Extended Art cards that we’ve released through Organized Play events, tournaments, conventions, magazines, and our player and judge support programs. 

While many cards have been released in the Extended Art format over the last three years, the majority of cards in each set do not receive the Extended Art treatment. On November 1st of this year, Upper Deck Entertainment will be releasing Marvel and DC Gallery Packs. Each Gallery Pack will contain five Marvel or DC Extended Art cards.

The majority of the Gallery Pack cards will be never-before-released Extended Art cards from previous Vs. System booster and starter set releases. The remaining cards will be Extended Art cards that were released through limited distribution in the earliest months of the game’s release. In addition to the standard Extended Art cards, random Gallery Packs will contain highly collectable variant Extended Art cards with alternate foiling treatment.

Supplies of this collector’s product will be extremely limited. Release of the Gallery Packs is planned through select hobby store partners. Also in November, UDE will be posting on its Marvel and DC TCG web pages an official listing of all Extended Art cards that have been distributed to date (including the Gallery Pack cards), along with the program or product through which they were released.
