I can tell you now that I am really happy writing this feature. What I hoped for was an evolving metagame, which would mean that the format and the game itself was refreshing. $10K Sydney is just that! Here is the metagame breakdown:

The three decks that hit double figures (Chicken Supreme, Re-vengers and Common Enemy) really are the staples, but because of a diverse metagame, they only comprised of 36% of the field. I said before that Oceania was good for innovative decks; Brotherhood of Arkham is actually very good, and I bet you never thought that someone would dare play Arkham at a $10K! GLEE Stall is also rampant at this tournament, and though nine people are playing with it, the only real differences between the versions are the high drops. Some prefer to play Professor X, while others are running Apocalypse and even Mogo, The Living Planet! Good Guys might have been played by others, but there are different versions of it with BWA HA HA HA HA!, JLI Embassy, and even New Era!

Another three rounds will sort out which deck will stand on top of the others, but after round 7, these are the Top 8 players and their decks:
