Mark Slack is at it again! His draft table had only six people, as one person was late and the other didn't show. So when he saw a
Manhunter Soldier pass all the way around the table, he realized that nobody else was drafting Manhunters and committed to them. He knew well that a strong Manhunters deck would be hard to beat.
So why Manhunters? “I know people don't like Manhunters because they‘re very hard to play. With eight people, only one will draft Manhunters, and with six people, you can commit yourself to be that person more easily. If you do, you can probably win most of the time if you know what you're doing.” And so, after drafting a Superman and a couple of plot twists, he saw that Soldier come back around and decided to make the commitment. “I was hoping for another team-up, but that didn't happen. I also tried to stay away from
Rocket Red unless I got some crazy concealed guys early . . . which I did, but then I only saw one
Rocket Red.”
Mark Slack's predictions? “I pretty much have to 3-0 to Top 8, so let's see if I can 3-0 with this!”
